I am pleased to bring you volume 12, issue 3 of Pharmacognosy Communications. In this issue, we present an evaluation of the antioxidant and peroxidase inhibitory activity of Triclisia gilletti (De Wild) Staner decoction. We also present new research reports examining the antibacterial properties of Rheum palmatum L root extracts against some bacterial triggers of autoimmune diseases, and the interactive effects of the extracts in combination with conventional antibiotics. Another study evaluates the potential of Scaevola spinescens R.Br. leaf extracts for the prevention of acne by inhibiting the growth of the causative pathogen Cutibacterium acnes.
