ABSTRACT
I am pleased to bring you volume 3, issue 4 of Pharmacognosy Communications. With this issue, Pharmacognosy Communications has reached 2.5 years of publication. We are well on our way to receiving a Thomson and Reuters impact factor which we hope to receive following the completion of our first 3 years. Our manuscript submission numbers continue to increase steadily with every issue and we aim to continue to publish interesting, well written articles of high quality. As the number of manuscript submissions increases, so does the amount of work reviewing, editing and publishing each issue. Publishing a high quality journal would also not be possible without the dedication and assistance of a strong and committed editorial team. I would therefore like to take the opportunity to thank the people whose efforts make the publication of Pharmacognosy Communications possible. The journal benefits from the wealth of experience and knowledge of such a diverse editorial board, with members from diverse global regions, with broad range of research interests. I would also like to thank those who have accepted the requests to review manuscripts.
