ABSTRACT
I am pleased to bring you Volume 15, Issue 4 of Pharmacognosy Communications. In this issue, we present an evaluation of the antibacterial activity of Tasmannia lanceolata (Poir.) A.C.Sm. Extracts against Streptococcus pyogenes. We also present a study examining the growth inhibitory effects of Tasmannia insipida R.Br. ex DC. Leaf extracts against of the acne vulgaris causing bacterium Cutibacterium acnes. Additionally, we present another study examining the anticancer effects of several high antioxidant plant extracts (Davidsonia pruriens, Elaeocarpus angustifolia, Kunzea pomifera, Podocarpus elatus and Acronychia acidula fruit extracts) by secreening their antiproliferative activity against HeLa (human cervical cancer) and Caco2 (colorectal cancer) cells.
